prepared in advance for us to do."  -  Ephesians 2:10

About NLDR

NLDR houses, feeds, and leads volunteers into the community to serve others.

On August 29, 2005, Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast, forever changing the landscape, but more importantly, changing our lives! As first-hand witnesses to this disaster, we were compelled to help family and neighbors in their time of need, and grew to serve in our community, region, and beyond!

As we rebuilt homes, God provided opportunities for us to rebuild lives. We were led to expand our ministry as our eyes became opened to needs beyond hurricane relief.

We respond to natural disasters, and personal crisis as well.

Our ministry focuses on three main areas of need:

Responding to disasters

Assisting in rebuilding

Distributing donations to the community

We can only accomplish these things through the provisions of God and the compassion of His volunteers.
